  • Do you like potato buns or sesame seeds better? What are Kaiser rolls? What about a pretzel, brioche, or ciabatta bun? There are no restrictions; purchase your want.
  • Seasonings – It doesn’t take much to make your burger come alive. It just takes a pinch of salt and pepper. However, don’t be afraid to add your own taste profile. Season with garlic and onion seasoning to add depth, or heat it up with cayenne and paprika.

Angus beef burgers or ground chuck burgers are my favorites. When purchasing beef patties, look for a fat proportion of 80/20 or 85/15.

This recipe also works with other frozen patties. Turkey burgers, veggie burgers, or plant-based meat replacements such as Impossible burgers, Gardein, Boca, or Beyond Meat are all options.

Step-By-Step Instructions

  • Preheat and prepare. Preheat the oven to 425°F (218°C) and gently oil or coat a wire cooling rack with nonstick cooking spray. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil, then set the rack on top.
